Kirk Baughan

Kirk Baughan and his wife Laurie are founding members of St. John Paul II Parish.  After retirement, he was part of the crew that spent about two months remodeling the Southside building to house JP2. This involvement led to his part-time work to maintain the Church facilities. He also serves as a Reader at Mass, Recorder for the Knights of Columbus, and leader of the Knight’s Tommy Negrete Scholarship Committee.

His extended family of his four daughters and their families includes 14 grandchildren who live in Baldwin City and Topeka.  He and his wife spend much of their spare time at  grandkids sporting, musical events, first communions, graduations, and more! They also enjoy going to Kansas City theatre productions, are season ticket holders of K-State football and basketball and cheer on the Royals and Chiefs.
