Molly England joined the JPII parish staff in August of 2023 as the Discipleship Formation Associate. Fr. Farrar created this new role to mentor and serve the needs of new and current parishioners, introducing them to parish ministry opportunities, assisting couples preparing for Marriage & Baptism, supporting the ministries of the parish, coordinating parish events & facilitating Faith Formation by coordinating prayer & study groups. She is currently nurturing her own faith formation by studying Catholic Spiritual Mentorship, a two year program offered by the Holy Family School of Faith Institute.
Molly was born in St. Louis, MO and educated in the Catholic faith. She spent over 25 years working in HR Administration, Training & Development, Organizational Change Management & Process Improvement. During that time, she embraced ministry opportunities embracing spiritual growth in the Catholic faith by teaching the catechism, sponsoring in the RCIA ministry, leading Walking with Purpose Women’s Bible study groups, supporting the Life Teen & NET Ministries, teaching John Paul II Theology of the Body. As a JPII parishioner she is involved in the Women of JPII ministry, is a Rosary Leader and volunteers with the Arts & Environment Committee.
Her husband of 32 years Tim was transferred and they moved to Overland Park in July of 2020 and joined the JII parish community. They have a son, Tyler, who is a PharmD working in Houston, TX at MD Anderson Oncology Clinic; and a daughter, Abigail, who teaches 2nd grade at St. Agnes Catholic School in Roeland Park, KS. Molly loves to spend her free time with family & friends, loves reading, gardening, flower arranging and cooking.
